A complete line for sorting winemaking grapes

The Winery sector requires accurate sorting of the grapes to obtain the highest quality wines. Protect has developed a dedicated line for sorting the best berries and for quick and accurate elimination of foreign bodies, such as rachises, leaves, leaves’ stems, and insects.

The line includes the Roll Feeder Grader for handling and first selection of the berries, separated from stems, pedicels, seeds, and skin thanks to a simple but effective roller mechanical system.

The state-of-the-art technology X-Tri optical sorter thoroughly sorts white and red grapes, removing not only defective berries but also less ripe ones.
